Did you go to school for photography?

No, although I did take photography courses in college. I have my degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, and worked as a lab tech for many years before pursuing my passion in photography full time. However, after we moved, I did go back to working in the lab and keep photography as my side job now.

I constantly work to improve my abilities as a photographer by taking classes to refine my skills with elements such as new lighting & posing techniques, attending workshops on equipment & software as those are ever changing, and join follow photographers and creative individuals at conferences for new ideas and inspirations.
